If you're a first (or twentieth) year teacher, you're probably OVERWHELMED by the seemingly never-ending demands for Special Ed documentation regarding your IEP students.
One of my colleagues came up with a great idea for including accommodation/modification notes in your lesson plans - a particularly tedious task.
Insert the IEP notes as "Comments" on the Track Changes function in Word. It's quick, easy and aesthetically appealing. There are also options for the layout/size of these comments in the printed version so it doesn't take up half your paper. Check out the Help function for "Print, comments" for more detailed information.
